Gojo assists Kitagawa with her hair ribbons and learns her father canceled her summer festival invitation due to unfinished homework. She reveals she models for a magazine to save for a camera. They watch a horror movie, where Gojo analyzes costumes while Kitagawa is frightened. Later, they retrieve her math drills from school, and Gojo rescues her from the pool. After finishing her homework, Kitagawa invites Gojo to the festival. He is stunned by her yukata appearance, delighting her. They watch fireworks together, and he carries her home due to her bruised feet from sandals. At home, Kitagawa calls Gojo, admitting she wants to hear his voice after another scary movie. As Gojo falls asleep during the call, Kitagawa confesses her love.
