Ep. 28: Black Star confronts Mifune while Sid and allies plan to destroy a moral-disrupting lab

As Maka recovers, Sid receives intelligence from Azusa regarding an Arachnophobia facility where Mosquito is developing a magic tool that alters morality. While the team formulates a plan to destroy the lab, Black Star independently attacks the site and encounters Arachne’s new bodyguard, Mifune. Despite utilizing all his abilities, Black Star fails to defeat the powerful opponent. However, a coordinated ambush by Sid, Naigus, and Azusa creates an opening for Black Star to escape the engagement. Following the battle, Black Star returns to Maka and presents her with a piece of candy that Mifune had given him for consolation.
