Scarlet challenges Dandy to capture a rare Chameleonian to offset bounty costs. The Aloha Oe crew accidentally catches the mimic during fishing, and it begins impersonating them. They later confront a Chameleonian disguised as Dandy, using personal questions to identify the impostor. The alien mimics Dandy so perfectly that it believes itself to be him, becoming indistinguishable from the real one. The creature remains with the crew in Dandy's form until Dr. Gel captures it. The Chameleonian then impersonates Gel, causing the doctor to suffer Gestaltzerfall from identity confusion. QT and Meow are left uncertain about the true identity of the remaining Dandy.
