Ep. 5: Dandy and Adélie Journey to the Registration Center Amidst Misunderstandings
Dandy captures Adélie, a young orphan with mind-transfer abilities, to deliver her to an alien registration center. Upon returning to the Aloha Oe, he discovers it has been towed for a parking violation. To pay the fine, Dandy takes Adélie on a multi-day trip to the nearest facility. During the journey, Adélie attempts to visit her grandfather but finds the apartment occupied. Dandy secretly investigates the tenant while pretending to leave her at a local establishment. The following day, he arranges a meeting at the train station so Adélie can live with her grandfather. Misinterpreting his actions as abandonment, Adélie traps Dandy’s mind in a stuffed penguin doll and flees. She is subsequently captured by alien hunters she had previously humiliated. Dandy, still inhabiting the penguin, and her grandfather rescue her. Adélie forgives Dandy and requests to join the Aloha Oe crew when she grows up, a promise Dandy makes.
