Claude and his companions search for the Metoks and discover that Precis is in danger. They rush to her aid but are attacked by strange vines. Upon rescuing her, they realize the Precis they saved is not real. This revelation raises the question of where the actual Precis is located, as the person they rescued is an imposter. The group must now determine the true location of the real Precis while dealing with the consequences of this deception and the mysterious vines that attacked them during the rescue attempt.
