During a fight between Claude and Dias, Dias reveals that Gaizel plans to assassinate the king, but the real Gaizel has already been killed by a monster taking his place. Meanwhile, Celine and Ashton infiltrate the castle and discover that the guards are actually monsters in disguise. After defeating the impostors, they rescue Leon, who is revealed to be a little boy. With his plan exposed, Gaizel transforms into his true form. The narrative questions whether Dias and Claude can defeat him before he kills the king.
