Claude and Leon travel to locate energy stones intended to power Leon's new invention. During their journey, they encounter a monster that initiates an attack, creating a dire situation for the pair. The situation is resolved when Precis and her companions arrive to defeat the creature. Following this confrontation, the group proceeds to the ruins that Claude and Leon originally intended to visit in order to retrieve the necessary energy stones.
