Hikaru and Lala enter a Halloween costume contest in the city's commercial district alongside their class, Elena, her family, Madoka, and Yuni, all disguised as UMAs. Meanwhile, Kappard mourns his destroyed home planet and vents frustration over his defeat by the Pretty Cures. To avoid frightening the crowd and revealing alien existence, the Cures improvise a scene as fighters to push Kappard away. Ultimately, the top prizes for the best costumes are awarded to Hikaru and Lala's class, Elena and her family, Madoka and Yuni, and surprisingly, Kappard himself.
