Lynne and Perrine encounter Julius, who is caring for his injured sister Rose. Julius resents witches because they did not aid his father during the battle at Arnhem Bridge. After discovering Perrine is a witch, Julius stows away on a shipment to Arnhem Bridge to retrieve personal items. Perrine’s Strike Unit is undergoing repairs, so she protects Julius from Neuroi attacks while Lynne provides backup. When Perrine injures her leg, Julius assists her, enabling both girls to defeat the Neuroi. Following the battle, Perrine decides to educate both Julius and Rose. Meanwhile, Lynne receives a letter from Yoshika. This sequence highlights the growing bond between the children and the witches, as well as the ongoing conflict with the Neuroi near the bridge.
