Mephisto realizes his current Notes are insufficient to complete the Melody of Sorrow. When Hibiki and the others question the Crescendo Tone about Muse's motives, she advises them to reflect on the purpose of Pretty Cure. Otokichi offers similar counsel to Dodory. After the Pretty Cure defeat the Negatone, Mephisto utilizes the Notes to enhance his own power. Acknowledging the girl's wish to liberate Mephisto from his evil heart, Muse discloses her true identity as Ako, revealing she is Mephisto's daughter.
