Five years have passed since that summer. Haru currently works as a host while saving money for his twin brothers' tuition. His lawyer, Mikiko, invites him to her office, where he is reunited with Ren. Ren was adopted by Haru's parents three months before they passed away. Although Haru is at a loss because Ren lost his memory after the accident, Ren insists on living with him.
