Ep. 18: Leafa leads Kirito to the World Tree after leaving her party for him

Suguha recalls her start in virtual reality gaming and meets Shin'ichi Nagata, revealing her intent to leave Recon for Kirito. Logging in as Leafa, she guides Kirito toward the World Tree at Alfheim's center. Sigurd expresses disappointment over her departure, but Leafa asserts Kirito as her new partner due to their poor treatment of him. During their journey, the pair reaches a landing point to take turns logging out for rest. Concurrently, Asuna discovers from Oberon that Kirito is alive and secretly acquires the key code for her cage lock.
