Anna and Destiny encounter a devastated town during their journey. Simultaneously, D2s awaken globally, attacking settlements and reverting the world to the state before Sagan's Declaration four years ago. As the D2 threat intensifies, Takt becomes obsessed with an unknown task. Facing a blank staff notation, he plays an imaginary keyboard, desperately attempting to create something meaningful amidst the growing chaos and destruction surrounding them.
