After receiving a threatening letter, the group analyzes clues and stages a fake kidnapping to throw Carol a surprise birthday party, realizing she authored the note. It is revealed that Carol is possessed by an Element named Rhythmic, who resonates with her fear of growing up. Rhythmic challenges the group to a giant block puzzle. The Milky Holmes win by using hypnotism on Cordelia. Rhythmic explains her connection to Carol's anxieties, and Carol and Marine form a friendship.
