Milky Holmes fail an upcoming exam because they rely on their Toys returning, which do not happen. They encounter a robbery by Arséne, mistakenly believing it to be a trial mentioned by Holmes. Instead, they find Stone River, Twenty, and Rat fighting each other. The thieves then target Milky Holmes, defeating them easily because their Toys are non-functional. Kokoro rescues the group from an explosion. Henriette grows frustrated with their lack of progress and sets fire to their attic. She declares that Milky Holmes are expelled from Holmes Academy due to their repeated failures and inability to perform their duties without their equipment.
