Naofumi offers to distract the creature's familiars while the army attempts to guide the Spirit Tortoise toward the mountains. During this operation, the Spirit Tortoise's familiar, Ost, chooses to fight alongside the human forces. This coordination between the volunteer and the army aims to manage the threat posed by the massive beast as it moves through the region.
