Mihoshi, a Galaxy Police Officer, becomes Tenchi’s new roommate, adding excitement to his daily life. The group faces a major threat when Kagato, one of the Universe’s most wanted criminals, appears before them. He asserts that he is Ryoko’s creator and demands Tenchi’s sword. Despite the desperate efforts of Tenchi and his grandfather to resist, Kagato succeeds in kidnapping Ryoko. He then escapes into outer space, leaving the group in turmoil. This event marks a significant turning point as the antagonist removes Ryoko from their immediate presence while pursuing his own objectives regarding the sword and his claimed connection to her.
