Following Tenchi's disappearance, the female characters launch an assault on Kagato's spaceship. Ayeka is captured after falling into a trap set by Kagato. Meanwhile, Ryoko and Mihoshi are trapped in an alternate dimension where they encounter Washu, a scientific genius who reveals she created Ryoko. As a destructive ray aimed at Earth nears its target, Tenchi is resurrected and returns to the scene. This sudden reappearance sets the stage for the final confrontation between the heroes and Kagato, concluding the immediate conflict.
