Nia chooses to contribute to Team Dai-Gurren by taking on the role of a cook. However, before the crew can sample her meals, Cytomander, the fourth Divine General, initiates an aerial assault on the Dai-Gurren. In response, Simon commands a counter-attack using the Gurren-Lagann. He is joined by Yoko, who steps in to fill the position of Rossiu, who is currently ill. This engagement marks a significant moment where the team must defend their vessel while dealing with the sudden threat posed by the enemy General.
