Motivated by the deep affection shared between Simon and Nia, the members of Team Dai-Gurren successfully breach through various dimensions. Their ultimate objective is to locate the homeworld of the Anti-Spirals, the antagonists they have been fighting against. However, their journey takes a tragic turn when they inadvertently fall into a carefully constructed trap set by the enemy forces. The Anti-Spirals launch a vicious and overwhelming offensive against the team. As a result of this brutal attack, the group suffers significant casualties, losing several of their most cherished and important members during the confrontation.
