Ep. 1: Souichiro and Aya face masked attackers while Bob trains Maya with a tire.

Souichiro Nagi and Aya Natsume depart for special training, encountering Souichiro’s mother Makiko and Dougen Takayanagi. Annoyed, Souichiro attempts to leave but realizes his weakness when Aya demonstrates her sword skills. They are subsequently attacked by masked men working for Dougen, who has family ties to Souichiro. During the fight, Souichiro briefly transforms, turning his hair black. Meanwhile, Bob Makihara trains Maya Natsume by dragging her with a tire. Makiko explains to Souichiro that he is a fragment of the universe. Elsewhere, Bunshichi Tawara advises Mitsuomi Takayanagi to let go of the past, but Mitsuomi crashes his motorcycle after hitting a stray cat. Aya confronts Maya for using Souichiro to fight Mitsuomi, then runs away crying.
