Ep. 2: Mitsuomi challenges Souichiro while Aya seeks strength to rival Maya

Released from the hospital, Mitsuomi believes his time is short and sends Bunshichi to challenge Souichiro. At school, Aya interrupts class to challenge Maya, writing her intent on the chalkboard. After a chase, Aya declares she refuses to accept losing Souichiro and wants to grow stronger. Bob stops the girls from fighting, but Souichiro encourages Aya to win. That night, Mitsuomi demands a match before the preliminaries. Maya tries to intervene, but Souichiro enters an altered state. He transforms further, his body turning gold, and punches Mitsuomi against a wall. However, the energy drain causes Souichiro to stiffen and collapse before he can finish the fight. The next day, aware of Souichiro’s feelings for Maya, Aya resolves to become even stronger to prove her own love for him.
