Babylon assists Escher and his companions in their escape from danger. During the confrontation with a mysterious priest, Escher recognizes a significant disparity in power but continues to fight, relying on a faint hope for victory. After leaving the Father at the adventurer's guild, Escher struggles with feelings of inadequacy. Driven by concern for Babylon, he decides to return to the church. Upon his arrival, he encounters Babylon, whose eyes are filled with tears, leading to an unexpected and emotional reunion between the two characters.
