Alien invaders destroy space stations, leading nations to blame Atlas and form a World Defense Force. Captain Keeley seeks revenge for his brother’s death and attacks Atlas with a laser targeting his Omega Factor. Astro confronts Atlas, who denies the attacks and reveals he and Astro are brothers born from the same template. Livian begs Astro not to fight, but Astro refuses to join his brother. Keeley shoots Atlas despite Astro’s pleas, and the invaders destroy most of Keeley’s squadron. Dr. Elefun confirms Atlas’s innocence after studying footage. Keeley admits his error before sacrificing himself against the invaders. Atlas joins the battle to destroy the enemy base, pulling it into deep space with Livian to save Earth.
