A visitor from Planet Regel arrives on Earth accompanied by a snow lion. Shortly after, beings from the same planet begin releasing cosmic snow that absorbs all energy, causing cities to cease functioning. In response to this crisis, Astro Boy launches into space to intervene and save the Earth from total energy depletion.
