Ep. 13: Rito Faces King Deviluke's Test to Prove His Worthiness to Marry Lala

Rito begins his day with Lala in his bed before Zastin arrives to announce that Lala's father is coming to verify Rito's suitability as a husband. Rito spends the day anxious about the king's appearance and enduring a chaotic school day filled with various girls. He is summoned to the roof to meet a mysterious woman who serves as a test arranged by Lala's father. After the encounter, a small boy appears, revealing himself as the ruler of the galaxy who has deemed Rito unworthy. Lala rushes to the roof to protect Rito, explaining her love for him to her father. Impressed by her devotion, King Deviluke challenges Rito to become the number one man in the galaxy. Rito returns home and resolves to accept this daunting task.
