Oct 3, 2020Bleeding on a snowy street, Nasa Yuzaki reflects on his life, recalling ridicule for his name and his dedication to studying for an elite school. Just before his entrance exam, he is struck by a truck while attempting to speak to Tsukasa Tsukuyomi. Tsukasa intervenes, saving his life. Upon waking, Nasa pursues her to express gratitude, and she agrees to date him on the condition that they marry once they are of legal age. After being discharged from the hospital, Nasa takes the entrance exam the following year but chooses to work instead of attending high school, hoping to reunite with Tsukasa. Shortly after turning 18, Tsukasa arrives at his apartment to complete the marriage registration and submit it to the bureau, officially making their marriage legal.

The next day, the two go shopping in Omotesando, and Nasa is shocked at the price tag for a Honey Winston diamond ring, but is talked into buying one until Tsukasa drags him out of the store. Tsukasa tells Nasa that she does not want him to spend his savings on a ring. Instead, the two stop by at a jeweler in Okachimachi with affordable diamond rings but the price is still too much to get Nasa to understand. Eventually, they end up buying a pair of cheap diamond rings and Tsukasa expresses her appreciation on their way home.
