Ep. 19: Taiga and Ryuuji navigate a Christmas Eve party and subsequent emotional misunderstandings.

On Christmas Eve, Taiga provides Ryuuji with a suit for a party while she tries to persuade Minori to attend. The event opens with a song by Taiga and Ami, after which Ami tells Ryuuji that Taiga has departed. Taiga leaves to wait for Santa Claus, stopping at Minori’s home to invite her. Ryuuji, assuming Taiga is alone, visits her apartment dressed as a Bear Santa Claus to offer support. Taiga then instructs Ryuuji to return and wait for Minori. He leaves despite initial hesitation. Taiga begins crying uncontrollably, fearing that Ryuuji and Minori being together means they can no longer stay together. She rushes after him but he is gone. Minori, who was heading to the party, witnesses this scene. Later at school, Minori implies she does not want a boyfriend. Ryuuji interprets this as rejection and collapses on the sidewalk.
