Ep. 16: Taiga and Ryuuji manipulate Yuusaku into running for student council president while he pursues Sumire.

Taiga and Ryuuji attempt to persuade Yuusaku to run for student council president by threatening students with Taiga’s disruptive behavior. Ryuuji learns that Yuusaku harbors feelings for current president Sumire, who plans to study abroad in America, explaining his recent conduct. Encouraged by Sumire, Yuusaku enters the race, but Taiga withdraws, allowing Yuusaku to win. He publicly confesses his love, though Sumire offers no response. Enraged, Taiga attacks Sumire until Ryuuji and the council intervene. Sumire reveals she did not want Yuusaku to sacrifice everything for her. Yuusaku overhears this and expresses happiness at his feelings. Later, Ami questions Minori about guilt. Two days later, Sumire departs for America, and Taiga receives a two-week suspension. She is ordered to apologize but sends a note calling Sumire an idiot, referencing Sumire’s wish to be ordinary.
