Ep. 18: Great Race heats up in Diablo Desert while Autobots face Decepticons on Jungle Planet

The second last round of the Great Race starts in the Diablo Desert. Hot Shot gets stuck in sinking sand, and Brakedown helps him, risking his own race position. Dirt Boss is disqualified after Ransack and Crumplezone leave him behind. Only Ransack, Crumplezone, Hot Shot, and Override remain in contention. On Jungle Planet, Autobots and new allies fight Decepticons after being tricked. A friend is trapped under a rockslide. Sideways claims to work undercover against Megatron, but his loyalty is uncertain. Landmine contacts Optimus to report finding Coby and the Mini-Cons on Speed Planet. Hot Shot persuades Optimus and Jetfire to allow Coby to stay with them.
