Stranded after a Space Bridge collapse, Autobots use three Cybertronian ships to build a generator, which attracts Laserbeaks. Vector Prime destroys the device to eliminate the threat, leaving only a yearly time-space tunnel as an exit. He proposes using his powers to send the group back to the past, but Jolt warns this will cost Vector Prime his life. Despite Optimus Prime’s refusal, Vector Prime insists on the sacrifice, citing his knowledge of temporal cataclysms. The Autobots activate Lemuria and Atlantis, and Vector Prime bids farewell to the Mini-cons and Safeguard. As the ships travel through the tunnel past Ogygia, Vector Prime’s body is disintegrated atom by atom. The surviving Autobots salute him before continuing their journey toward Cybertron.
