He fails to find useful intelligence, obtaining only Jan's homework program, but captures Jan and Stakeout to secure his escape. The captives manage to break free and summon Star Saber. Dinoking engages the Autobot leader in combat but is defeated and flees upon Galaxy Shuttle's arrival. The Decepticons' plans are thwarted once again as the heroes successfully repel the attack and rescue their comrades.

Jun 18, 1989A sinkhole appears in Canada, prompting Star Saber to send Machtackle for investigation. Guided by a farmer, Machtackle splits into Mach and Tackle, discovering the cause is disrupted underground water. This results from a Decepticon plot using a disguised factory. The other Autobots arrive to assist the struggling pair. Although Tackle struggles as the upper body during their combined form, his strategies help drive off the Decepticons. Aug 1, 1989Star Saber travels to the planet Micro at Ginrai’s request to address a crisis while he battles the Decepticons under Overlord. The Rescue Team, including Jan and Stakeout, arrives to assist. The attackers are identified as Hellbat, acting independently from the Breast Force, alongside Decepticon mercenaries Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus. They are pursued by Greatshot, a Six-Changer Autobot. The groups confront each other at the planet’s critical plasma energy reactor. Greatshot defeats Shadow and Bacchus, surprising them with his Autobot allegiance. Hellbat attempts to destroy the reactor and Star Saber but fails. Star Saber successfully moves the reactor off-planet to prevent an explosion. He then bids farewell to Greatshot, who joined the Autobots after previously fighting alongside him.

Aug 8, 1989Leozack and Hellbat execute a prison break to rescue Gaihawk, a Breast Force member, by using a decoy shuttle to breach the facility. Gaihawk exploits the chaos to escape his cell and forces Hellbat to help him recharge and recover his Chest Animal. Greatshot arrives to confront Gaihawk, while Star Saber and his team engage the Breast Force and other inmates. As the prison sinks into lava, the inmates accept an invitation to board the Galaxy Shuttle. Greatshot falls into the refinery but is saved by Stakeout, allowing them to escape after Gaihawk flees. Leozack and Hellbat transport their flightless comrades away, and the Autobots return to Micro with a new friendship between Greatshot and Stakeout.

Deszaras runs low on energy after reactivating the fortress and cannot finish the damaged Star Saber. He warns Star Saber he will perish next time and leaves to tend to Thunder Arrow. The battered Autobots return home, wary of Deszaras' growing ambition.
