Ep. 18: Laura starts at Aozora Middle School and joins the Swim Club before fighting a monster.
Laura begins her first day at Aozora Middle School, experiencing both enjoyment and difficulty with various subjects. She vents her frustrations to Eiko Mizushima, the Swim Club president, and accepts an invitation to join the club. While Laura prepares to swim, Numeri, selected by Butler to attack, summons a Zenzen Yaraneeda to assault the school pool. Manatsu and her friends transform to confront the beast but are initially overpowered. Laura arrives late, witnesses her friends struggling, and transforms to save them, helping to recover the monster's stolen motivation and defeat it. Although Laura discovers she cannot swim, Manatsu encourages her to look forward to the next school day. Inspired by this support, Laura decides to join Manatsu's club.
