Tsuki ga Kirei

Kotaro, a literature-loving middle school student, and Akane, an athletic girl passionate about running, are classmates in their third year. Assigned to manage equipment for the school sports festival, they begin communicating through LINE and gradually grow closer. As Kotaro navigates his developing emotions for Akane, Takumi, who has had feelings for her since the first year, remains in the background. At the same time, Chinatsu, Akane’s friend, takes an interest in Kotaro. The story explores these shifting connections and the complexities of young affection in Kawagoe.
