Ep. 1: Hibito and Mutta Nanba reunite after a childhood UFO sighting leads to divergent paths.

In 2006, brothers Hibito and Mutta Nanba observe a UFO heading to the moon. By 2025, Hibito is an astronaut preparing for a lunar mission, while Mutta was fired from an automobile company for head-butting his supervisor and must move back in with his parents. Hibito emails Mutta to listen to a tape recorded in 2006. On the recording, young Mutta declares his goal is to reach Mars, surpassing Hibito’s desire to go to the moon. A month later, Mutta receives a letter from JAXA confirming his acceptance into an astronaut program.
