A childless man named Michio Mikita discovers an alien infant that arrives on Earth. He adopts the baby, surprising his family. The child, referred to as UB, gradually gains the ability to speak, walk, and perform magic, often causing trouble for Michio. Despite being a baby, UB's actions lead to complications, especially as Michio is already known for being clumsy and performing poorly at work. The series follows the pair as they navigate their shared experiences and challenges.
