During their flight, the pair encounter Yuu, a girl whose pilot father recently died. She blames JASDF pilot Atsuzawa for the crash, but he claims a monster was responsible. As Atsuzawa begins to experience the same overwhelming pressure he felt when witnessing the creature in the sky, the group arrives in Hokkaido. There, Ushio and his companions confront Fusuma, the specific monster that caused the plane crash, bringing their journey to a dangerous and direct confrontation with the entity responsible for Yuu's loss.
