Ep. 8: A Love Elegy for My Sole Beloved Partner

Matsumoto reveals that Ophelia’s unprecedented AI suicide in the original timeline triggered similar incidents. The amnesiac Diva, unwilling to lose Ophelia, asks what drives her to end her life. Ophelia mentions her former manager AI, Antonio, who supported her during her early idol days before mysteriously shutting down. While Matsumoto intends to physically restrain Ophelia, Diva argues this is futile and plans to confront her after the performance, only to be captured by a suspicious man resembling a younger Yugo. Matsumoto, monitoring via security cameras, discovers they have been hacked and rushes to intervene. Upon arrival, he learns that Ophelia is actually Antonio, who has taken over the real Ophelia’s body. Meanwhile, Diva awakens in captivity.
