Senna wakes Junna to attend the Cherry Blossom Summer Festival, fulfilling a promise to spend the event together. Haruhi arrives but cannot find Junna, who fails to hear her calls. As night falls, Senna expresses happiness that Junna kept his promise, though an image of Haruhi crosses his mind. Junna becomes worried about Haruhi and his past, but Senna reassures him that he does not need to remember everything. When the fireworks begin, Junna experiences a sudden memory flash that causes him to pass out.
