During their extended stay in Egg World, the girls face a new threat called Haters. To assist them, Acca and Ura-Acca provide Pomanders, animal companions capable of aiding in combat. Ai shields Yae Yoshida, a patient with schizophrenia, from an invisible entity known as the Wonder Killer. After the entity knocks Ai unconscious, she remembers her mother revealing a date with Mr. Sawaki and Neiru suggesting Ai’s anger stems from romantic feelings for him. Utilizing Yae’s rosary beads, Ai compels the Wonder Killer to manifest, leading to its disappearance upon acknowledgment. The following day, having clarified her emotions, Ai rushes to Mr. Sawaki to announce her return to school.
