The long-awaited offensive by Galopoula begins in earnest. This event marks the start of a significant military engagement, as forces mobilize to initiate the attack. The narrative focuses on the commencement of hostilities, detailing the initial movements and strategic positioning of the involved parties. This development shifts the momentum of the conflict, introducing new challenges and immediate dangers to the characters involved. The scene sets the stage for the ensuing battles and tactical maneuvers that will define the outcome of this particular confrontation.

Gatlin, Ratarykov, and Wen Sou infiltrate HQ while Border anticipates their move

Gatlin, Ratarykov, and Wen Sou successfully infiltrate the headquarters. However, Border is aware of their objective due to predictions made by Yuuichi Jin. Consequently, Border positions its top four attackers to defend the away ship against the intruders.

Duos confront Idras while Yomi intercepts Kuroe and allies defeat opponents with support

Kuroe and Kitora team up with Sasamori and Tsuji to challenge the ace Idras. Yomi analyzes Idaten's mechanics to block Kuroe's assault, resulting in her injury. Simultaneously, Miwa and Yoneya manage Koskero with assistance from Jin. In another engagement, Nasu and Kumagai overcome Wen Sou, aided by Kikuchihara. The group coordinates separate efforts to neutralize key threats during the battle.

Border prevents the invaders from destroying the Away Ship as Kazama and Konami defeat their opponents.

The invasion ends with Border successfully stopping the invaders from destroying the Away Ship. Kazama defeats Ratarykov, while Konami defeats Gatlin with help from Tachikawa's torso. Kou also blocks Gatlin's final attempt to destroy the Away Ship. Meanwhile, Hyuse's attempt to board Galopoula's ship is unsuccessful.

Tamakoma Celebrates Victory as Hyuse Requests Membership in Second Team

Following the conclusion of Round 5 and subsequent commentary, the Tamakoma squad rejoices in their decisive triumph. During the festivities, Youtarou Rindou interrupts to announce that Hyuse wishes to join Tamakoma Second. After a brief discussion, Osamu grants permission for Hyuse to become a member. However, the process is not immediate, as Osamu must first consult with Border's high-ranking officials to finalize the transfer. This administrative step is required to officially allow Hyuse to join the organization, marking a significant shift in the team's composition following their recent success.

Hyuse joins border via Chika's trade, Tamakoma Second fights without him in Round 6.

Hyuse gains border access by trading Chika’s mandatory Away Team spot. The Rank Battle season ends early, canceling A-rank promotions, but Chika ensures B-rank selections continue. Consequently, Tamakoma Second must achieve at least B-rank #2 for eligibility, while Hyuse must start at C-rank. Because Hyuse’s enlistment ceremony coincides with Round 6, the team competes without him. Tamakoma Second reviews opponent logs and discusses strategy. Meanwhile, Ikoma Squad holds separate discussions, and Ouji considers which map will be used for the upcoming battle.
