Taimon halts time briefly while being targeted by a bald eagle, expecting Yadamon to rescue him. Instead, she flies on her broom and becomes trapped in an eagle's nest. Jean's father saves Taimon, treating his injuries and taking him on a hike. Jean searches for Yadamon alone, eventually climbing to the nest where she is resting with baby eagles. Believing Taimon was eaten, Jean and Yadamon are overjoyed to reunite with Jean's father, who has found Taimon. They request that he keep Taimon hidden from Jean's mother. After he agrees, Jean and Yadamon hurry away to locate a suitable hiding place for the fairy.
