While the student council seeks a scriptwriter, Sayaka advises Yuu to research the president from seven years ago. Yuu discovers that the former president was Touko’s older sister, Mio, who died in a traffic accident before a culture festival performance. Yuu realizes Touko is attempting to imitate her deceased sister. Although Yuu urges Touko to abandon the play, Touko refuses, fearing she will lose the special status others assign to her. Yuu admits she cannot love either aspect of Touko but promises to remain by her side and assist with the production.
