Ep. 66: Mitsuba Trains Hard While Sayaka Assembles a Fake Team for the Ajisai Cup

Under Jigoro’s supervision, the Mitsuba judo team engages in rigorous practice. Meanwhile, Sayaka recruits wealthy classmates from Seishin School to form a fake squad, intending to handle all matches herself. Fujiko trains intensely, receiving secret guidance from Kojiro, who notes her rapid improvement after only three months. Yawara identifies Kojiro by a discarded persimmon seed wafer. Matsuda informs Yawara that Sayaka will challenge her at Ajisai, suggesting Yawara boost her teammates' confidence by allowing them to throw her. Kojiro cautions Shinnosuke not to underestimate the Mitsuba members. During training, Yawara lets her teammates throw her to teach timing, but Fujiko proves to be a formidable opponent due to her significant progress. The eighth Ajisai Cup commences, featuring sixteen female colleges, including the five-time champion Tsukushi University.
