Ep. 70: Fujiko competes despite fear while her parents confront Hanazono over judo influence.

Fujiko enters a match against Sayaka despite her fear, while her unexpectedly tall mother and short father arrive. Standing near Hanazono, they blame him for introducing their daughter to judo, reacting negatively when he calls them mother and father. Jigoro informs Saikai College coach Yuutenji that he can provide both Yawara and Fujiko as a package after their two-year tenure at Mitsuba, labeling Fujiko the future of judo. Fujiko scores a waza ari with her signature move and nearly wins with an ippon, but the final throw is ruled out of bounds. Sayaka ties the score but fails to pin Fujiko, resulting in a draw. Mitsuba wins by default as Sayaka’s team has no remaining fighters. Sayaka leaves in humiliation. Fujiko suffers a dislocated shoulder, which Jigoro treats while advising her to stop to protect her future, though her teammates vow to fight for her. Matsuda reports that Saikai was defeated by Tsubushi.
