Aired on June 17, 1991

72
The Tsukushi coach attempts to rally his team by asserting their superiority, noting that two of the three remaining judokas are giants. Yawara struggles against the first giant but secures victory with a frontal pin. She subsequently defeats the fourth opponent, prompting the coach to insist the situation remains on track. Yamada Kaori, the final Tsukushi judoka, vows to win by claiming her team has developed a specific counter to the ippon zeoi technique. However, she is defeated almost immediately when Yawara alters her move. Meanwhile, in a car with Sayaka and Kojiro, Kojiro appears to agree to accept Sayaka as his student.
