At Sayaka’s banquet for two thousand guests, no attendees appear, yet she delusionally believes she won, maintaining her belief that she can obtain anything she desires. Only Shinnosuke witnesses her vulnerability, kissing her as she cries. Outside the Inokuma victory party, Matsuda begins confessing his feelings to Yawara but is interrupted by celebrating friends and family bursting through the door. The episode concludes with Yawara walking through the Barcelona stadium tunnel while Matsuda shouts, "Now Yawara-san, ippon zeoi!"
