After a rejected confession, fourteen-year-old Ko Yamori suffers from insomnia and wanders the streets. He encounters Nazuna, who diagnoses his restlessness as life dissatisfaction and invites him to her apartment. She reveals she is a vampire and drinks his blood, noting its unique taste. When Yamori confronts her, she explains that becoming a vampire requires mutual love followed by a bite, a statement that embarrasses her. Relieved yet disappointed, Yamori decides he wants to experience this excitement. He asks to spend more time with Nazuna specifically to fall in love and become a vampire. Nazuna reluctantly agrees to their arrangement, accepting his blood in exchange for their time together.
