Mahiru meets Yukine, who praises her rapid improvement and selects her for a major project. Meanwhile, Kano warns Mahiru against accepting the offer, hinting at past trauma. Flashbacks reveal Kano’s idol career ended after she punched teammate Mero, who was sabotaging peers. Kano felt overshadowed by Mahiru, whose mural inspired her. In the present, Mahiru declines the MV work to take the commission. Kano breaks down, accusing Mahiru of betrayal and claiming she would be nothing without her. Mahiru is heartbroken by the confrontation. Kano reflects that her mother saw greater potential in Mahiru, deepening the rift between them as Mahiru processes the emotional fallout.
