Ep. 6: JELEE helps 31-year-old Miiko face ageism and bullying while composing a song

Kano hesitates to accept a commission from Miiko, a 31-year-old underground idol facing career termination. After learning Miiko’s production company threatens to drop her if her next song fails, JELEE agrees to help. The group shadows Miiko to gather inspiration, meeting her daughter Ariel. Kano feels uneasy observing their close bond, contrasting it with her own distant relationship with her mother. At a shrine, Ariel is bullied by classmates who mock her mother online. Upon discovering this, Miiko abandons her scheduled performance to protect Ariel. JELEE covers for her by performing in her place. Miiko later reveals her true age and motherhood to the audience, choosing to continue her career despite mixed reactions. Her video eventually reaches 820k views, restoring her popularity.
